VC Pines’ new single is a smooth, soulful piece. There are almost too many points of interest in ‘Smoke Without Fire’ to even begin discussing them. Luckily, we've already done that! A couple of weeks after the track was released as a single, VC Pines has hit us with an emotive music video filled with a deep, gradually intensifying red colour pallet. The luscious video was created during the first UK lockdown, with the exciting newcomer explaining that he “wanted to keep those feelings of isolation, frustration and claustrophobia. We decided to shoot the video as one-take to represent each day rolling into another, and keep it to one confined space”. Hopefully we’ll hear more from this exciting artist over the course of 2021. -Dan Peeke
